The “academy” encompasses all of capitalist academia. While the “academy” is often depicted by reactionaries as being a stronghold of leftist and anticapitalist thought, in reality the bourgeois academy is the system that assists the ruling class in propagating itself. It teaches members of the ruling class how to behave and informs them how to think. All products of the bourgeois academy should be viewed with extreme caution.
