Unity–Struggle–Unity Press is a revolutionary organization, founded with the purpose of raising class-consciousness in the advanced workers of the U.S. Empire and its junior partner of Canada, and with the immediate strategic task of contributing to the continent-wide task of unifying and advancing the revolutionary Marxist movement.
Our Distribution Agents are full Members of the Press Organization (the “Pressorg”), the governing body of the Press, and are invited to participate in all Press meetings, etc. through our Press Discord server and wherever else we may host them. Eligibility in the Pressorg is restricted to steadfastly committed Marxists who accept the USU Press Mission Statement and have never been credibly accused of repeated and/or violent expressions of chauvinism and/or acts of interpersonal abuse.
As per our Bylaws, Press Distribution Agents are responsible for regularly and frequently distributing Press publications within their locality, including distributing at least 20 copies of the Red Clarion, our mass political newspaper, each month; for paying into the Press Fund a certain amount each month as dues or printing costs, usually $1 per paper distributed; discussing USU Press literature with readers and reporting reader feedback; collecting letters from readers in the locality; and writing brief monthly reports on their distribution efforts.
