Mazal: Asks about metrics from Twitter. (Can’t read data Lyxzen has supplied.)
Lyxzen: Plans to plug the data into a graph — something that can be reproduced each
week conveniently. “Inner scientist worries about Twitter bullshit that’s going on; not
sure if we’re getting an accurate look at” metrics. Will need to collect data over a long
period of time to judge results, rather than short-term metrics.
Mazal: Sounds good.
Mazal: Will have social media guidelines suggestions for Lyxzen to review, crit, approve
today — suggested “streamlined” posts between Lyxzen’s novel posts to make social
media activity more efficient.
Lyxzen: Agrees with streamlining, will have time to review today.
Mazal: EB has discussed having Lyxzen proactively suggest topics for novel posts at the
beginning of the week.
Lyxzen: Agrees with preparing a “pipeline of topics” each week.
Mazal: Could use the “news-talk” channel for ideas.
Mazal: Proposes a four-times-per-week schedule for Lyxzen’s novel posts, suggests
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus Saturday or Sunday.
Lyxzen: Prefers a schedule of Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. Will use the “Social
Media Guidelines” document for frequent posts on in-between days.
Lyxzen: Mentions that work schedule in the new year should allow for more time focused
on USU responsibilities; will be able to attend regular EB meetings going forward.
