A Press Organization meeting of Unity–Struggle–Unity was held at 11-11-23 on Discord. It began at 7:33 PM MST and was presided over by Serj with Pariah as secretary.

Running minutes

• All articles to focus on Palestine and Palestinian Resistance from as many angles as possible while the Resistance Movements continue to fight.
• Postponement of Crucible means that some theory articles that would have been in Crucible will now be fit for publication at Clarion
• Increased use to happen in Discord of the forum channels, rather than every author having their own individual channels, and moving towards “writing rooms” for articles for each publication in order to create more open discussion about each article. In this way we hope to increase the engagement with each article.
• Serj getting remotivated by the chat to write the article ab Education.
• Group discussion about education, propaganda, how zionist propaganda functions etc.
• Stalin Good.
• Soff “Starting to doubt if Stalin is a bad guy”
• Starting to doubt if the Kim family are bad people.
• In general, the above points refer to a general shift occurring around the Palestinian struggle, where some folks may be becoming more comfortable questioning their long held beliefs, in the sense that if “Hamas Good” then what else may they have been lied to about.
• Thanks Soff for work on the PFLP statements AND COPY EDITING.
• Soff and Serj: refrain from threatening about articles and write articles – Serj write ab Education (see it’s in the notes twice), Soff to write about Affect/Effect of Being a Communist.
• Serj to write about Artsakh/Palestinian parallels after the Education piece.
• Someone take on other forgotten/ignored struggles & genocides which are transpiring, Armenia/Myanmar/Sudan/Congo/etc. Gonzo considering taking this on at some point later.
• In the interests of bulking the article count, consider looking at things you wrote during your academic life (or don’t if you’re Pariah and only wrote cringe things)
• Pariah to work on connecting Indigenous struggles between Palestine and Turtle Island, finish Danielle Smith is an Enemy of the People
• Cde. Editors to offer notes on the writing workshop materials prior to Wednesday
• Serj presented an update on the Rose City Communist Collective and the Oregon Radical Reading Group
